Baskerville, John W. - Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa Great-Grandpa of
Inver Grove Hts Born July 15, 1926, passed away peacefully on July 10,
2005, surrounded by his loving family. Survived by cherished wife of 57
years, Marian; children, John C. (Marilyn), Joan (Kevin) Draz, Jan C.
(Cheryl), Joel C. (Sue); 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
sister, Mary; brothers, Bill and Gene; also many friends and relatives.
John was a very gifted artist who touched the lives of all who knew
him. His kind, gentle heart and the love for his family and friends
will be greatly missed, but the memories we have will be in our hearts
forever. Funeral service 10 AM Thursday at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN
CHURCH, 7600 Cahill Ave., I.G.H. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday at ROBERTS
FUNERAL HOME, 8108 Barbara Ave., I.G.H. Also 9-10 AM prior to the
service at church. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,

Web Master's notes: John Baskerville enlisted in the U S Navy June 29, 1944, service # 758 29 29. He was received aboard the USS Sigsbee DD-502, July 3, 1945, at Pearl Harbor as S1c. John was a very popular shipmate with those who knew him. His photo appears in albums 4 and 8 of SIGSBEE502 PHOTOS on this web site. John was transferred to the USS Eberle DD 430, April 13, 1946 at Charleston, SC. He will be missed by his shipmates.
